Notes:

All students must take a minimum of 120 credits (approximately 40 courses). Thirty credits must be taken at UMass Boston.
Also, some departments require that a minimum number of courses in the major be taken at UMass Boston.
A minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.0, calculated only from UMass Boston courses, is required by the university.
Some majors require a specific average in courses taken toward the major.
Courses may fulfill more than one requirement. For example, a single course may simultaneously fulfill a distribution, diversity, and major requirement.
